Pack 117 believes in teaching our Youth the importance of giving back. As a group we do community service: community and school clean-ups, food drives, clothing drives, holiday cards for the military, caroling in local nursing homes. We also believe in teaching our Youth the importance of sportsmanship - and how to win and loose gracefully. We do this by running the three cub scout races: Space Derby, Rain Gutter Regatta, and Pinewood Derby. Scouts are encouraged to "Do their best" and to be proud of their accomplishments. Pack 117 is chartered through the Westampton Recreation Department. We abide by their mission statement: To enhance the quality of life in Westampton Township by developing and maintaining year-round sports and non-sports programs and providing the best possible recreation facilities for our residents and those in the surrounding communities.
